Simon is founder and CEO of Tooth Care Project Limited, the company behind Clara — a prevention-first oral healthcare app that helps families build lasting brushing habits. He leads strategy, partnerships and product direction across the Clara App and Clara Practice programmes, working with clinicians, investors and technology partners to bring evidence-led home care into everyday use.
Piet (also Pete) is Co-Founder and AI Architect at Tooth Care Project. He designs the technology behind Clara and related platforms — building tech stacks, shaping complex AI solutions, and orchestrating teams of coding agents so product and infrastructure keep shipping. Based in South Africa, he partners closely with Simon on architecture, innovation and continuous improvement.
Chris is Clinical Development Director at Tooth Care Project and one of the UK's leading authorities in paediatric dentistry. Professor of Paediatric Dentistry at the University of Sheffield and former Dean of its School of Clinical Dentistry, he is an Honorary Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry and has chaired the Dental Schools Council and the Consultants in Paediatric Dentistry Group. He brings that clinical and academic leadership to Clara's oral-health content and clinical credibility.
Bhupinder is Practice Development Director at Tooth Care Project and a UK general dental practitioner and oral health researcher. Principal Dentist at Hafren House Dental Practice, he has held NIHR research fellowships — including a Doctoral Research Fellowship — and serves as Oral & Dental Specialty Lead for the NIHR East Midlands Regional Research Delivery Network. His work spans minimum intervention dentistry, children's caries management, practice-based research networks and embedding research into general dental practice. He shapes how Clara works in real practices and strengthens the company's clinical research and trials pathway.
Nick is a Co-Founder of Tooth Care Project, its strategic advisor and lead investor — involved from the start. A British technology entrepreneur and angel investor, he has founded, scaled and exited major digital businesses since the mid-1990s — including Overture Europe (sold to Yahoo), The Search Works, Somo (acquired by CI&T), SwiftKey (sold to Microsoft) and Reward (acquired by Rezolve AI). He holds honorary roles at the University of East Anglia, the University of Bath and The Prince's Trust, where he is a lifetime fellow of enterprise, and is a founding member of the BIMA Digital Hall of Fame. He supports Simon on strategy, growth and board-level judgment.
